Lost identity

A henpecked husband went to a counselor for assertive training. After the counseling session, he was given a book to read. He read that on his way home.
On entering the house, he called his wife and said, "Today onwards, I am the man of the house. What I say is the law here. You are going to cook a gourmet meal for me. Then you are going to prepare the bathtub for me. And guess, who is going to comb my hair after the bath?"
The wife replied, "The embalmer !"

Thought for reflection

The character determines a person’s individuality. It takes life’s time to build one’s name, fame and identity. And very hard to get it back, if it is lost.
Of course, the identity of a person is directly related to his role in the society with his words and deeds.

"The LORD gave me this message:
“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”
Jeremiah 1:4-5

"A person’s identity is revealed in his character of existence and conduct."
