Meaning and context

It was an English grammar and vocabulary class for the lower primary division.
"Give me a sentence about a public servant" said a teacher.
A small boy wrote: "The fireman came down the ladder pregnant."
The teacher took the lad aside to correct him. "Don't you know what pregnant means?"  she asked.
"Sure," said the young boy confidently. "It means carrying a child."

Thought for reflection

There are people who speak about entertainment while discussing about ill-health.
And there are some other people having the habit of beating around the bush without even having a little knowledge about the topic they are in.

“The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.”
Proverbs 15:14

Sharing knowledge and information is a virtue, provided they are true.
