Obedience is a virtue

According to a story, once God the Father divided the Heaven and told the men to take one side and the women the other side.
Then He told the men to make two lines. The first line of those who controlled their wives and the second line of those who were controlled by their wives.
In the first line there was only one man standing, while the second line was miles long.
So God the Father walked up to the only man on the first line and said to him;
 "Congratulations! Tell all those men how you controlled your wife."

The man replied:
 "God, our Father, I don't know why I am standing here! My wife told me to stand here."

Thought for reflection

We all obey and do what we ‘supposed’ to.
But we hesitate to obey the things we do not like.
At times, we not only disobey but also find faults with what we were asked to follow.
Whereas, many of us follow blindly when our loved ones ask us.

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves”
James 1:22

“Blind obedience or deliberate disobedience might lead us to turmoil”
